Ronald Blanton of Fresno died Friday.  He was a professor in the Department of Industrial Technology until 1995 at which time he moved to the Department of Art and Design.  He retired after 33 years of service to California State University, Fresno.  Ron was a master craftsman and artist specializing in metals and jewelry.  Of special note, the Fountain outside the Kennel Bookstore, was his design.

Retirement for Dr. Dickerson

Dr. Dickerson joined the Fresno State campus in 1985 as associate professor of textiles in the former Department of Family Studies and Home Economics.  She served as the Director of the Solutions Center  in the School of Agricultural Sciences and Technology from 1995-1999, became the Associate Dean in the Division of Graduate Studies in 1998  and served as Interim Graduate Dean from 11/1/05 ~ 5/1/08.
