APPLICATION DEADLINE FOR SPRING 2011
The university will begin accepting applications for admission for the spring 2011 semester on August 1, 2010. The application deadline is August 31, 2010.
Applications will be accepted from students in the following categories:
Returning Upper Division Students: Previously matriculated and enrolled at Fresno State and have completed 60 or more baccalaureate level units.
Upper Division Transfers: Applicants who have completed all transfer admission requirements by end of summer 2010.
Graduate and Postbaccalaureate: Open to applicants for graduate and credential programs.
The university is closed to applications from: first-time freshmen, new or returning lower division transfers, second baccalaureate, and postbaccalaureate unclassified students.
The spring 2011 admission cycle is based upon anticipated funding to accommodate enrollment growth for 2010-11. Therefore, admission of students will be made on a space available basis.
Transfer Admission Requirements:
The campus is impacted at the transfer level and will implement supplementary screening criteria for admission. Based on space availability, transfer applicants from the Local Area will be accommodated first. Local Area community colleges are: College of the Sequoias, Fresno City College, Merced Community College, Modesto Community College, Reedley College, West Hills Community College, and West Hills College-Lemoore. Transfer applicants from other colleges or universities will be considered on a space available basis if they have a minimum 2.70 gpa or higher. All transfer applicants must satisfy admission requirements by the end of the summer 2010 semester/quarter.

The CSUMentor site has additional admission information for applicants. Applicants are encouraged to review document deadlines; applications that remain incomplete cannot be processed.
