Dinner: Buffet available from 6:00 PM - for $15.00
Lecture: 7:00 PM, followed by discussion ending at 8:15 PM.
Dr. Bala Iyer, cardiovascular disease specialist and cardiac surgeon at Kaiser Permanente, will give us an overview of the field of cardiology and cardiac medicine. We will learn about the current state of knowledge in treating the human heart, and the novel technologies that are helping more of us survive formerly fatal heart conditions, from one of the foremost practitioners of the art and science of cardiology in the Central Valley.
The Vintage Room will offer a buffet dinner for $15.00 starting at 6:00 PM on Nov 1, so come early if you want to enjoy dinner as well. Purchasing dinner will not be required, of course, if you simply want to attend the talk. The lecture will begin at 7:00 PM.
