Make a Difference Day

Make A Difference at the Centennial Day of Service

The Richter Center for Community Engagement and Service-Learning is asking all faculty and staff to volunteer and help spread the word about Make a Difference Day, October 23rd. Make A Difference Day is being celebrated as the official Fresno State Centennial Day of Service, part of the university's Centennial Celebration.

Mark your calendars now for Saturday, October 23rd from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Volunteers can choose from two different projects: trail building with Sierra Foothill Conservancy or display refurbishment at Rotary Storyland. Individuals, groups, clubs and organizations are encouraged to participate.

Volunteers are encouraged to register early as space is limited and will be filled on a first come, first serve basis. Deadline for registration is Wednesday, October 20th. All volunteers must be at least 16 years-old, pre-register, complete waiver forms and provide their own transportation.
