Fresno State has now opened a small writing studio in the Thomas Building just for you! And guess what? It won't cost you a penny use it!
If you have been instructed to get "extra help" with your writing, that help has arrived. Our trained consultants can work with you on things like essay organization, dissertation/thesis formatting, paragraph clarity, documentation, proofreading strategies, and more!
So come in and start getting the help you need!
Graduate Writing Center
A FREE service to graduate students
The Division of Graduate Studies is pleased to announce the opening of the new Graduate Writing Center!
We will provide the following FREE services to graduate students from ALL disciplines:
Essay organization/coherence
Paragraph clarity
Developing a central claim
Research assistance
Documentation/working with sources
Dissertation/Thesis formatting
Proofreading strategies/sentence-level concerns (Note: The GWC is not an editing service, but consultants will empower you to identify and correct mechanical errors.)
You can find the Graduate Writing Center in the Thomas Building, room 121C (next to the Division of Graduate Studies).
The hours of operation will be 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 3 p.m. - 5 p.m. on Friday.
