Report Your Community Service Hours
In AY 2008-09, the university provided in excess of 920,000 hours of service to our community. This includes the personal community service completed by faculty and staff. Does this number include you?
As the 2009-10 year comes to a close, the Richter Center reminds you to report your personal service hours!
Reporting your service is as easy as 1 – 2 – 3!
1) Log into your My Fresno State account
2) Select “Volunteer Record” under the Employee Self Service Section
3) Enter the dates, number of hours, and location of your service. Be sure to report hours for the current fiscal year (July 1, 2009 - June 30, 2010).
Need help? Visit www.csufresno.edu/cesl to watch a short instructional video or call the Richter Center at (559) 278-7079.
What Counts?
Voluntary community service, as used here, refers to ANY unpaid activities that benefit a nonprofit, not-for-profit, government or religious organization. This may include direct service, membership on an advisory board, providing research or logistical support for projects, or any other type of service.
If you have questions about reporting service hours, or if you would like more information on volunteering, please contact Chris Fiorentino or Mellissa Jessen in the Richter Center for Community Engagement and Service-Learning at 278-7079.
