International Coffee Hour: New Zealand
INTERNATIONAL COFFEE HOUR
Date: April 27
Time: 2:00 – 3:00 p.m.
Place: University Student Union Room 312-314
Country: New Zealand
Presenter: Dr. Frederika (Fraka) Harmsen
A small country in the South Pacific Ocean, New Zealand has recently been attracting major attention. Its extraordinary scenery -- glaciers and rain forests, beaches and mountain ranges, volcanoes and geysers, tranquil lakes and fjords, meadows and plains, thunderous waterfalls and serpentine rivers -- provide the backdrop for Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings movie trilogy. New Zealand society is sophisticated and multi-cultural, and the honesty, friendliness, and openness of Kiwis are likely to impress you.
Come experience New Zealand with Dr. Harmsen, the Associate Dean at the College of Science & Mathematics.
