2010 Major Fair
The Office of Advising Services is sponsoring the 2010 Major Fair, Tuesday, April 13, from 11:00 am to 1 pm, on the balcony of the University Student Union. The Major Fair is designed to assist Fresno State’s freshmen and sophomores who have not declared major or are unsure about the major they have declared. It will provide an excellent opportunity for students to speak with representatives from the various academic departments.
The fair will begin with academic major highlights in which colleges and departments can showcase what is unique and exciting about their individual programs. This event is free and open to all Fresno State students. Lunch will be provided for representatives from different majors and colleges on campus, as well as for students. Students attending also have a chance to win a Flip Camera,iPod Nano or a BluRay/DVD player!
Career counselors and academic advisors will also be available to talk with students to help in the process of choosing a major.
