Come join us for the very first presentation of the International Coffee Hour for the spring 2010 semester as biology major Solomon Xiong takes us on a tour of this interesting country.
Laos is considered by many seasoned travelers to be the untapped gem of Southeast Asia, as this diverse landlocked country is full of surprises. Tourists can travel to see beautiful scenery, temples, buildings, and much more. From some of the most beautiful waterfalls in Southeast Asia to the mountainous northern highlands, and to the 4,000 Islands of the Mekong, this nation of just six million has an incredibly diverse geography to match its colorful culture.
