Open University
Division of Continuing and Global Education

The Open University Program is designed to increase access to classes for people who are NOT matriculated students at California State University, Fresno.  Participants can enroll in regular university classes on a space available basis through the program.  Fees are $240 per unit.

Students are eligible for Open University if they are not admitted to the university for the current semester, or have been academically disqualified and may wish to raise their GPA, or wish to take a class or two for personal reasons. Open University is very convenient.

Students need to obtain a permission number from the instructor for online registration or the signature of the instructor on their Open University registration form to add the class.

Enrollment for Open University begins January 28, the second week of instruction.  Students can enroll and pay fees online. Please review complete guidelines for the spring semester at:
http://www.csufresno.edu/cge/programs/documents/OpenUInfo-SP10.pdf  and review the online registration procedures at: http://www.csufresno.edu/cge/registration.
