Legislative Intern Program
The Maddy Institute, California State University, Fresno is currently accepting applications for the spring 2010 and summer 2010 semester’s for its Legislative Intern Program. The deadline to apply for both spring and summer internships is Friday, November 27, 2009. Students must be at least Junior standing (Grad students welcome too!) and should have an overall 3.0 GPA.
PROGRAM IS OPEN TO ALL MAJORS
Spring 2010 Intern details are:
- Students commit to a 150 hour internship
- Students will Intern in Legislative Offices within Fresno
- Internship will tentatively start on Monday, January 25, 2010
- Students will be awarded a $1,250 scholarship for their participation
Summer 2010 Intern details are:
- Students will commit to a 9 week internship
- Students will Intern in Legislative Offices either in Sacramento or Washington, D.C.
- Internships will tentatively start on Monday, June 7, 2010
- Students will be awarded a $4,000 scholarship for Sacramento and a $6,000 scholarship for Washington, D.C.
