Dr. Jennifer Ivie will demonstrate hands-on learning methods she uses in her Statistics, Computers and Research Methods courses (three courses that students hate or fear) that keep students involved and engaged in the learning process. She will also discuss how these methods have positively impacted her teaching evaluations. Please come prepared to share methods you use in your "difficult" classes.
- Jennifer Ivie is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology and a CSALT Faculty Fellow. Her research interests include improving teaching and learning, psychometric evaluation of tests and surveys and equity in the fields of math and science.
